killin' time...

I'm dying my hair for the first time ever! It's not a dramatic change...I have- or, had- dirty blond hair but I've wanted chocolate brown since middle school so why the hell not? Right now I'm (im)patiently waiting for the 30 minutes to be up sooo to kill time I decided to blog! :) Last weekend I again didn't get too much done card wise but I thought what I came up with was pretty cute. I can't take all the credit though. I got my inspiration from the Hero Arts card blog . They have awesome ideas and they update frequently so check them out (if you haven't already!)

After my hairs done I'm gonna get started on this weekends cards...probably going to continue the holiday/Christmas theme. I know, its so early but I can't help it! I used to hate Christmas (okay, I'm still not completely warmed up to it but I'm getting there!) mostly because of the pressure to buy people things. It should be about family and friends and love and NOT about spending all your money on things people are going to toss in the closet and forget about anyway. Last year I got so many easy gift ideas from stumbling crafts and I'm starting to enjoy the season again. My dad used to always tell me when I was little that when someone makes a gift it means so much more and I agree completely. OOh! Times almost up! Ok here's my last week's card:

Okay that's it! I gotta go wash this gunk outta my hair and hope I didn't screw it up!! (which is most likely the case...)
